Joana’s place is lovely. The view is spectacular and the space is large. I’d definitely come back.

We found Joana’s flat a good place for exploring Cascais and the surrounding region. A short 5-10 min walk down in to old town gives access to the beaches, the market, bike hire (great for Guincho beach) and the train station for trips to Lisbon. The flat itself was clean and well presented with great views of the sun rising over the bay. Joana was extremely helpful, quick to reply to messages and helping us arrange transfers and meeting us at the flat.

This apartment was absolutely up to par! The feeling you have when you walk in and the view all around is fantastic. The terrasse was perfectly situated to watch the sunrise over the Cascais bay, something that we would not have had if we had an apartment closer to town. The apartment is a bit far from downtown, but if you walk back (it's downhill), you can always take a taxi back (they are really cheap). There was also plenty of parking on the street. Joana provided us with great addresses for restaurants and activities. A lovely basket with local goodies awaited us on our arrival. The rooms are confortable, and there is plenty of space. The kitchen was well equipped. We were happy with the juicer, since the oranges in Portugal are so amazing (and cheap!). The location is perfect if you want to enjoy Lisbon but want to come home to a quiet place. The travel guides and maps were very useful as well! Thanks again!!

Joana was the kindest host. She greeted us, let us check in early and truly cared about her apartment. You have everything you need in the apartment and the view was amazing!!! For location, you do have to walk down to the city center but it was worth having the view. I know there is a bus option but we did not use it. There is a small grocery store right next door that was very convenient also. I would recommend this place and host’s communication was great!

Incredible location with all the historic charm you want. Our two young sons walked to the beaches every day. Looking forward to staying again!

This place exceeded our expectations. It is everything advertised and more! The apartment was immaculate, and accommodated our group of 6 extremely well. It is in an excellent location in the town. If we ever return to Cascais, we would be sure to stay there again. I've already given the details to friends that are thinking about travelling to Portugal. The level of hospitality and care was outstanding.

Fantastic location and very comfortable place, felt safe with walking distance to everything - beaches, stores, landmarks etc. We walked to the train station with luggage no problem. Very communicative hosts with personal welcome and walk-through. Loved it!
